Mortgages For: Overseas Property
If you are planning on buying
a property overseas, there are generally two ways you can finance the
purchase:
You can either try to arrange finance in the country you are buying the
property in with a local lender (which you'll generally have to do
directly), or you can release equity from your existing Irish property.
You can release the equity by switching your mortgage to a new lender, and
borrow the additional finance you require on top. You will need to
have sufficient equity in your property - we can refinance your Irish
property up to 95% of it's value, so if you've owned your home for a few
years, there's a good change this is an option for you.
We deal with 10 different lenders, so chances are, we can find a great
mortgage to match your needs.
